1. What this covers
SellerProAI uses AI assistance to prepare listing content. This explains what that means in practice, what the system does and does not do, where your information goes, and what remains your responsibility.
It forms part of the Terms of Service.
2. What the AI actually produces
When you use the generation step, AI assistance is used to write the language of a listing:
- The product title.
- The product description.
- Bullet points describing the product.
- Keywords for the listing.
Everything else in an exported file — the structure of the template, which fields exist, variant combinations, and the values you entered — is produced by the application from your own input and from the template you uploaded. It is not written by the AI.
3. It works only from what you give it
The AI does not research your product. It does not browse the web, search marketplaces, look up product databases, or retrieve information from anywhere outside your own project. It has no access to other customers' data.
It is given the product facts assembled from what you entered, and is instructed to treat those values as the facts. Where it appears to know something about your product, that is because you supplied it.
Fields that identify or control marketplace records — such as identifiers, image and link fields, supplier and merchant fields — are filtered out before the facts are assembled, so they are not part of what the AI is asked to write from.
4. What is sent, and where
When you generate, the assembled product facts — for example brand, material, attributes and variant values — are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, which processes them in the United States.
Your name, email address, account identifier, payment details, billing information and subscription details are not sent. Neither are your session or sign-in details.
This happens only at the generation step, when you ask for it. Uploading a template, entering product information, building variants and exporting a file do not send anything to the AI provider.
The Privacy Policy covers this processing in full.
5. How generated content is checked — and what that check is not
Before generated content is returned to you, the application checks it against the facts it was given. In outline:
- A claim in a bullet point must reference a fact that actually exists in your project. If it does not, it is rejected.
- Marketing adjectives — comfortable, premium, durable and similar — are rejected unless a fact you supplied genuinely supports them.
- Bullets that simply repeat the title are rejected.
- Content that fails these checks is removed or regenerated, and generation is attempted more than once before it is treated as failed.
This is a consistency check against your own input. It is not a truth check. It cannot tell whether what you entered is correct, whether your product is safe or lawful, whether a certification you named is real, or whether a marketplace will accept the result. Content that passes has not been verified — it has only been kept consistent with what you told us.
Do not treat generated content as independently checked merely because SellerProAI produced or grounded it.
6. It can still be wrong
Even with those checks, generated content can:
- State something inaccurate, or misread what you entered.
- Omit something important about the product.
- Phrase something in a way that is misleading, even where each individual fact is correct.
- Use wording unsuitable for your category, or that a marketplace will not accept.
- Produce phrasing similar to other listings, since common products attract common language.
- Attach wording to the wrong variant.
- Express a claim — about safety, health, performance, environment, certification, origin or price — more strongly than the underlying facts support.
We make no claim that generated content is accurate, complete, original, or fit for any particular marketplace or category.
7. You must review it before you export
Review is not optional. The workflow is:
- You enter your product information and upload your template.
- The application assembles the product facts and generates listing content with AI assistance.
- The consistency checks in section 5 are applied.
- You review the result and correct anything inaccurate or unsupported.
- You export the file.
- You decide whether, when and how to publish it.
The review step exists because it is the only point at which a person who knows the product looks at the words. Nobody at SellerProAI reviews your listings.
8. Check these especially carefully
Some claims carry consequences if they are wrong — for your customers, and for you. Check anything involving:
- Measurements, dimensions, weights, quantities and capacities.
- Materials, ingredients, composition and allergens.
- Compatibility, performance and technical specifications.
- Safety information, warnings, age suitability and children's products.
- Electrical, chemical and other regulated product characteristics.
- Certifications, standards, approvals and test results.
- Health, medical, nutritional and cosmetic claims.
- Environmental and sustainability claims.
- Country of origin, brand, manufacturer and importer details.
- Prices, discounts, savings claims and comparisons.
- Guarantees and warranties.
For some of these, getting it wrong is a regulatory matter rather than a quality one. Where a claim needs substantiation, obtain it — and take professional advice where the claim warrants it. SellerProAI cannot assess whether a claim is legally permissible.
9. What generated content is not
AI output is not legal, regulatory, tax, financial, medical or other professional advice, and is not a certification of any kind. It does not certify your product, clear a trademark, confirm a copyright position, or establish regulatory compliance.
SellerProAI is a listing-preparation tool. Using it does not make us the seller, manufacturer, importer, brand owner, marketplace operator or a regulatory authority for your products.
10. Reviews, ratings and testimonials
The generation feature produces listing copy. It is not intended, and must not be used, to fabricate customer reviews, ratings, testimonials, endorsements or accounts of customer experience.
The Acceptable Use Policy prohibits this.
11. Marketplaces
We do not guarantee that a marketplace will accept, approve, publish, rank or continue to display a listing prepared with SellerProAI. Marketplaces set their own rules, apply their own validation, and change both without reference to us.
SellerProAI does not publish listings, does not connect to marketplace seller accounts, and never asks for marketplace credentials. What you export, and what you do with it, is yours to decide.
Amazon and Flipkart listing template formats are supported at the time of writing. SellerProAI is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any marketplace.
12. Model training
SellerProAI does not use your content to train AI models. We operate no model training, fine-tuning or dataset-building of any kind, and we do not store the prompts sent to the provider or the raw responses received.
What our AI provider does with data submitted through its interface is governed by that provider's own terms, not by this policy. We are not in a position to make a statement on their behalf.
Legal review required. The AI provider's own data-handling terms — its retention period for API submissions, and whether any of it may be used for model improvement — should be confirmed by counsel against the provider's current contractual documentation, and a written data processing agreement put in place if one is not already.
13. If generation fails
Generation can fail — the provider may be unavailable, a response may not pass the checks in section 5, or the attempts may be exhausted.
If that happens you are told, no partial listing is produced, and the listing allowance set aside for that project is returned to your account. Trying again sets aside a fresh amount, so a failed attempt followed by a successful one costs one.
We do not guarantee that the generation feature will be available at any particular time. The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how allowance works, and why a returned allowance is a credit in your account rather than money.
14. Instructions hidden in product information
The product information you enter is passed to a language model. Text written to look like an instruction — whether you put it there, or it came from a supplier feed or a file you were given — may influence the output in ways neither of us intended.
Enter product information as product information. Do not enter instructions to the model, and take care with content from third parties that you have not read.
We apply the consistency checks described in section 5, which reject claims not supported by your facts. They are not a general defence against deliberately crafted input, and we do not claim otherwise.
15. Originality and rights
We do not promise that generated content is original, unique, or free of third-party rights. Similar products attract similar language, and two customers describing comparable products may receive comparable wording.
Whether any intellectual property right exists in AI-generated material, and who would hold it, is unsettled. The Intellectual Property Policy sets out the position on ownership of your input, the generated output and the Service itself.
You remain responsible for ensuring that what you export does not infringe anyone's rights.
Legal review required. Copyright in AI-generated material is unsettled in Indian law. The position stated here and in the Intellectual Property Policy is deliberately conservative and should be confirmed before it is relied on commercially.
16. What we keep
The listing content generated for your project is stored with that project so you can review, re-open and export it. The prompts sent to the provider and the raw responses received are not stored.
Retention of your projects and their content is governed by the Privacy Policy. There is no separate retention rule for AI content.
17. Prohibited use
Do not use the generation feature to produce unlawful, deceptive, infringing or otherwise prohibited content. The Acceptable Use Policy sets out what is not allowed and what may follow a breach.
Generated content does not become acceptable because a machine produced the words. SellerProAI does not screen, moderate or automatically scan what you generate.
18. Regulatory position
This policy describes how the feature works. It does not state a legal conclusion about how the service is classified.
Legal review required. How SellerProAI should be classified — and whether provisions of the Information Technology Rules concerning synthetically generated information, including any labelling or user-warning requirement, apply to a service of this kind — has NOT been determined. SellerProAI generates listing copy from a customer's own product data, publishes nothing, and hosts no content visible to other users; but the statutory scope is a matter of legal interpretation. Counsel should determine whether any AI notice, label or warning obligation applies, and whether the current interface satisfies it. No such obligation is claimed or disclaimed here.
